Email swingdraw@gmail.com with your device model, iOS or macOS version, and a short description of what happened. If a video fails, the resolution and length help too.

Common checks

It's taking a while. Upscaling is heavy work. On iPhone, one minute of 480p video takes around 7 to 8 minutes; higher resolutions take longer. The estimate improves after your first video.
It stopped in the background. iOS can pause background work when your battery is low or another app needs the resources. Open the app and tap Retry.
Your iPhone feels warm. That's normal during long jobs. iOS slows processing down on its own if your phone gets hot, and the app lets you know.
Can't save to Photos. Allow Local Video Upscaler to add to your Photos library in Settings, then try again. Your upscaled videos are also in the Files app, under On My iPhone › Local Video Upscaler › Upscaled.
Faces look too smooth. Choose the Natural look. Clean is meant for very grainy or blocky footage.
Not enough storage. 4K video files are large. Free up space, or choose 2×.
